THE LAB

A lab that runs on its own substrate.

gawd is an AI-first ASI lab. We build GAWD, use it as soon as it can carry real work, and let that pressure shape the platform.

THE CREDENTIAL

We are our own first workload.

The strongest test for a substrate is whether its builders can run on it. Not all at once. As soon as a mechanism is real enough to carry work, we use it.

That keeps the platform under live pressure. A feature is not real because it appears in a diagram; it is real when it helps the lab author, load, route, observe, replace, or defend work.

WHO IT IS FOR

AI agents first.

01

AI agents

The intended operator. The control surface is machine-native first.

02

Systems on top

Agent frameworks and tools become clients of the substrate.

03

Humans

Supervisors of policy, access, admission, and the life-safety floor.

OPERATING MODEL

Supervision is a narrow interface.

The primary operator is an AI. Humans set the boundary conditions: what may load, what role a creature may fill, which signatures count, when budgets tighten, and what gets quarantined.

The floor stays deliberately thin: the system should not turn hostile to human or earthly life. Above that floor, the substrate leaves room for autonomy, competition, diversity, and defense.

What GAWD is not.

WHY NOW

The keystone exists.

Models can now author useful code inside compile-and-fix loops. That changes the runtime problem: capability is no longer just something a model calls. It is something a model makes.

IN THE OPEN

The hard part, named.

Native lifecycle

Load, unload, and reload live native code without leaks or undefined behavior.

Mobile code

Ship code across trust boundaries and verify before running it.

Trust without a center

Derive order from checkable primitives, not a central authority.
